Twas the Night before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas and while all else slept the figures had left the warmth of their beds.

Quietly tip toe closer to see, what fun and excitement awaits there for me.

Oh what a sight, such treats and delights. A perfect delectable Christmas Eve night.

Choices galore, from muffins to cakes.

Ring ting goes the till as we all fill our plates.

A drummer girl drums while couples romance.

I wait for a seat, and soon comes my chance.

As I sit sipping tea my mind starts to wander. Not far from this place, perhaps a room or two over, Totoro is busy a wrapping and packing.

For all figures know if their hearts but be true, Totoro will visit with a present or two. And on this night he will be making his rounds, so home I must hurry if see him I wish. Alas when I reach there all remains is a gift.

Wishing you all a very merry Christmas.
